Groomsmen Gifts

I asked each of my groomsmen and ushers what their favorite NFL team was, and then bought each of them a beer mug/shot glass kit of their favorite team. That went over very well with each and every one of them.
Should I be concerned I got one at 14? But yes, flasks are a good way to go :wink:
That would have been my vote as well. I've gotten a few pocket watches. Golf passes, bottle of some liquor.
I bought my groosmen varying gifts from some gift place in the mall, but the ones that went over the best were these 1/2 gallon beer mugs I got for the ushers. made sure I gave them to 'em early so they could put them to use that night.

Nah, the last wedding I was in I got this cool pen, made from the wood of a seat from Wrigley Field. Every guy got one from their favorite team... That was pretty cool. I gave the guys one of those team steel buckets with some Fat Tire and Millstream, some cigars, a cigar cutter...

Yeah, both of those were good ones, my pen was made from a wood seat at Fulton County Stadium in Atlanta.
We gave personalized golf balls along with a golf towel, tee set, etc that had their favorite college team on them.
I've also gotten mugs, money clip, and a gift card to Prairie Meadows as well.
Love the flask idea, it also reminds me of Jim Gaffigan's comments on flasks:
"you seem like an alcoholic on the go, maybe you can put it on your car"
I've gotten business card holder with my initials on it, several flasks with my initials, very nice pens, etc.
For my groomsmen, we all enjoy cigars, so i bought them each a cigar travel case (a hard case - that holds 4 cigars) and put their initials on the case. I then put 3 cigars in each of them for them. Those went over REALLY well.

The only problem with knives now a days is you have to check them in luggage... people can forget.
