NFL: ***Official Wild Card Round Thread***

Go Redskins. Go Vikings (they're going to get killed).

I can only imagine the build up/aftermath if both the Chiefs and Broncos make it to the AFC championship.

With all the key injuries yesterday I think it's setting up for another round of Pats and Broncos in the AFC championship. Roethlisberger will be iffy with a bad shoulder and Antonio Brown is going to have to go through the league concussion protocol just to get on the field. And Maclin is the catalyst for the Chiefs offense. Losing him makes it almost too easy for Belichick to game plan for the Chiefs offense.

Didn't see the Steelers/Bengals game, and didn't have a hat in the ring.

The Bengals players got what they deserved for sheer stupidity, but Joey Porter lingering on the field like he's a player was a classless, Bret Bielema type of move (Bielema did a similar thing vs. Alabama this year).

Burfict's was a legal tackle, and I agree, Shazier's hit was legal. But, if you think that hit on Big Ben was dirty, then Shazier should be ejected.

First off - Im a cowboy fan so no allegiance to either side.

Burficts hit on Ben was 100% legal and reminded me of Romos season ending injury. This is the result of the NFL continually protecting the QB - the defenders have modified their game and they intend to punish qb's when given the chance. No problem with that hit.

Burfict against Brown - very interested with what Marshall Faulk said....Burfict is known as a big hitter and the hit he had on Brown was him letting up - his only mistake was that he hit Browns head - thats a penalty. What i dont understand is if Burficts hit to Brown was a penalty how was Shaziers helmet to helmet contact not the same penalty?

Lastly - Pac Man... That was a total BS call and the referees totally screwed it up. Pac Man shud not have been penalized as the NFL states Asst Coaches cannot be on the field during an injury timeout. Only personnel allowed are the head coach and medical personnel. Joey Porter was always viewed as a player on the edge and i find it highly ironic that he's in the bengals huddle with the referee right next to Burfict. Everyone knows what he was doing there and he should be suspended for the rest of the AFC playoffs. They want to send a message to players to remove that aspect from the game - same message should be sent to coaches. And what the heck did hall of famer Mike Muncheck do on the sidelines - he contacted an opposing teams player on the sideline.

Craziest nastiest game i've seen in a long long while.....feel bad for Bengals, i believe they were shafted at home no less....

That doesn't look good.

Best case scenario for Denver. We get the banged up Steelers while the red hot Chiefs go to Foxboro.

I agree that this is the ideal outcome for Denver (short of Houston beating KC).

Chiefs-Pats next weekend should be a great game and the winner still has to go to Denver the following week so long as the Broncos can win at home.
