*** Official Texas Tech vs #13 IOWA STATE Game(day) Thread ***

Big time. A lot of Tech's point are on second chance opportunities.

A lot of the 2nd chance points Saturday were blamed on the long rebounds via 3 point shooting, which is true to an extent. That still doesn't negate the fact that ISU's players habitually stand and watch when the shot's in the air.

I'd say it's the only thing I don't see as improvement from last year, but it's hurting in crucial situations.

Right after I closed that tab......
They do not miss a beat.

Does anyone know when our cheerleaders/dance teams got so hot? I feel like there was a direct correlation 5 years ago in female attractiveness on court and basketball victories. Just sayin'

Agreed. Monte has a couple long rebounds but often times out guys are not boxing out. There was one where 3 of our guys went for a board that almost ended up going out of bounds and I think Burton threw it under the basket to McKay. Good effort on that one and they still almost didn't get it.

That's because we're interested in getting out in transition than we are finishing defensive possessions.

There's been no backside help when fronting in the post tonight.

I wonder if it's another attempt to avoid fouling, although not boxing out generally equals not being in position, which I would think would have a higher risk of fouling since position isn't established.

Out rebounding a team and even on the offensive boards = thread full of rebounding crying. Keep up the good work guys.
