Doubt Rutgers is going to be able to do much besides try and avoid last place in that division.

Notre Dame, Stanford, Duke, North Carolina, TCU are all much better schools and will all finish in the top 25

Yes because Rutgers doesn't have 13 programs ranked in the top 25 in the country...their graduate programs don't have 16 ranked in the top 25 nationally either right?

Wondering what living in NYC has to do with Rutgers academics...

Couldn't possibly be because I worked with Rutgers graduates...it's a decent school but stating that academics are super high ignores the amount of Ivy's surrounding it...I suppose it's better than K State but that's not saying much.

Great hire by Chris Ash.

Shane may be a great guy, but our defensive line was routinely our worst unit under Wally and Shane's tenure. I'm sure this won't fall in line with the Kool Aid brigade, but I'm not sure why anyone would hire a guy coaching a terrible unit on what was pretty consistently one of the nation's worst defenses.

About as puzzling as Auburn's Chizik hire IMO.

Probably 3 dozen or so P5 schools are academically better than Rutgers.
