KU vs Somebody Diallo's first game

The party in KC is kinda fun if you're not from around there.

KU fans have packed P&L and the Sprint Center for awhile now. It's not just out-of-towners on vacation. The tournament is probably more fun when you're winning it and filling the majority of the seats. That's been ISU the past couple years. I'm not saying the conference tourney is super important, but to poo poo it just sounds like sour grapes.

I didn't think it was very important when KU was winning it, either. Of KU's last seven seasons in which they advanced to the Final Four (2012, 2008, 2003, 2002, 1993, 1991, 1988) they only won the conference tourney title in ONE of those seasons (2008). So that leads me to believe it's not terribly important in the scheme of things.

Fair enough. I wouldn't take that this year but looking back I would trade about twice as many foreign born ISU players as I would keep:

Keep:
Mitrou-Long
Ejim
Hubalek
Rancik
Michalik

Trade:
Tsalmpouris
Edozie
Staiger
Vanderbeken
Staple
Rampton
Danielson
Duarte

Crazy talk.

Even though I started this thread, I'm not reading thru the whole thing. Just wanted to say that two coach, just a week ago, said Diallo wasn't that important to KU's team.
