KU vs Somebody Diallo's first game

KU won 94-61
Diallo didn't start, but was 6/8 from the floor, including going coast to coast and finishing with a Malone/BDJ Dunk.
Finished with 13 pts and 6 rebounds.
 
Meh, it was against Loyola... Maryland.


I have no doubt the guy is going to be a force by the end of the season, but I think like most freshman he'll take some time to step into B12 play.

He tried to block EVERYTHING last night and every shot that went up in the paint while he was playing was impacted. And for the record, his wingspan is two inches LONGER than Embiid's.

Diallo is exactly what KU needed.

And he did most of what he did on the floor with Bragg, Vick, Svi and Graham. Four 18 year olds and a 20 year old. By the time Big 12 play gets here and he is running with the starters he is going to be killing it out there.

Again, against a ****** team. Im reserving my excitement about him until I see him do that against someone with a pulse.

I don't think that is true. Embiid has a 7'5.75" wingpsan. A quick google search shows Diallo has a 7'4" wingspan
 
He should have gotten a T on that dunk for showboating. McGee got one for far less in that Okie State road game a few years ago.

Oh, forgot. Kansas on the chest. My bad.

Actually yes. Hey, I love flashy dunks like anybody....but Rashon Clark did it right with authority, not put his hand behind his head and showboat on some ****** team. If refs say they will call that then make things consistent. And these two were obvious ones. As we know, BDJ was an interesting player at times for us last year... would him getting checked by pulling that stunt changed his behavior on the court? We don't know.

I just go back to McGee's because his really wasn't warranted, in fact it was BS. BDJ's and chicken sqawk Diallos were T's.

For the record, I hate Kansas. Sooo ******* much. I just get tired or seeing the "because Kansas" type of stuff.
