The silence in Hilton was definitely weird. It was like everyone there was holding their breath. You could tell JW and Heft didn't even want to talk while it was happening. JW was almost at a whisper.

My thoughts that I can put in a public forum:
1) How unbelievably quiet it got. It was EERIE!
2) The Campbell jinx. Moments after being introduced, BAM! Basketball season down the crapper. (and he was standing courtside right down by where it happened!)
3) Like @Big12Refs say, Iowa State can't have nice things.
4) Why did I forget to wear my Iowa State nut cup?

I first thought he was holding his gut or lower, so I wasn't worried.
Then he rolled over and was clearly holding his knee. That was a concern.

He stayed right in the middle of my basketball injury reaction scale. If he got really dramatic and pounded the floor or something, he'd be OK in a few seconds. If he just quietly held the knee without making a scene, everything is probably torn or he'll need the leg amputated.

He reacted, but kind of in the middle of a normal basketball reaction.

This was in a public event. I believe that his class attendance is protected by privacy laws, so I really don't react to information that I don't have access to.
