It is possible. Jamie Pollard said they shook hands without even discussing money. That there was an element of TRUST between them that Campbell knew we would give him a fair offer.

Perhaps you have little knowledge of the word TRUST. People with high character can generally be TRUSTED. And maybe that is why you really do not understand.

If Campbell can't turn this ship around...hands are thrown up..cause I can't think of anyone outside of Saban or Urban Meyer who could. i would say this staff will recruit Ohio heavily as well. It's a 7-9 hour drive to Ames so recruits and families aren't that far away.

i think Matt Campbell isn't an idiot and knew the salary range Iowa state would pay.

We have an AA wide receiver and a So. RB who set records in year one! Get them the ball more!!

Also not committing to a specific defense!! Players dictate formations which when put in the right place make plays (not 10 yards off the ball).

I don't actually listen to the coaches call-in shows, so I'm not familiar with the voices or exact absurdity of some of the regular callers. Yet from the stories I've heard reported in these threads, is it possible Randy Peterson and his hard-hitting analysis and questioning is indeed "Cyclone Jerry" or "Diamond Dave(?)", or both?

And a real question, how do the media rooms work in regards to Q&A order? Does seniority trump all, and is this why we're stuck with Randy leading the way?

Randy asks dumb questions most of the time but I sort of understand why he asked the first one today...the crap about the tailgate will add some color to an article tonight. Although I would have asked it in one of the side interviews or later in the press conference.
