I've liked everything he has said so far.

I could have done without the part "I had a chance to go somewhere else but I'm loyal". BS "I wondered if someone was going to ask that".

Interesting. CPR would have liked to have had a Guardian flown up to Ames with recruits. Good idea.

Says 12 team league would help.

They both would.

I've heard him mention this before. I thought it was an NCAA rule that the University couldn't pay for parent's travel?

Randy Peterson needs to have his press credentials revoked.
Because he's asking the tough questions? Better than Keith Murphy asking Hoiberg about his dance moves in his exit speech imo...

Wonder if anyone will ask about any regrets in coaches/coordinators he hired? He is too classy to answer, but it may be the very thing that sealed his fate.

Tough to watch. Classy for him to mention helping the assistants find jobs.

I would encourage everyone to drop him an email or note and keep the snarky crap out of it. He deserves to hear from us.

I'll be surprised if we every have a coach as "all in" as Rhoads is/was... I hope that the next guy can turn the corner, but I won't expect him to stay if he does. Between CPR and Hoiberg, I think the "relationship" I've had with coaches at ISU is at a crossroads. From now on, it's going to be a business relationship, which it likely should have been to start with. That being said, that's a very sad development in my history of being a cyclone fan.

Randy Pete's question and CPR's response regarding why Paul didn't leave sums it all up for me. We'll never again have a coach as loyal as he has been. We will have a coach that intends to take us to new places, but once/if he does, I have a very hard time believing he'll stick around to attempt what Paul did.

This is ripping my heart out. I'm one (like most) that wanted to keep Rhoads but knew we couldn't, but now listening to this press conference, I want to give a lifetime contract and don't care if we ever win again.

Interesting that he thanked President Geoffrey, but not President Leath. Hmmm.

i noted that too. I don't trust leath, I'm sure Paul doesn't either.
