Mangino tweet

...my brother is friends with a current players cousin...

Not trying to defend Mangino, or whatever actions he may have had, but that'd be like me saying that my sister-in-law is a teacher for a current player's siblings, which is true. Lot of opportunity for hear-say, embellishment, or mis-information by the time the story gets from the player to you/me; not really credible chains of custody.

Well, I mean our coach was celebrating pretty hard with less than 2 minutes left. And since there's that whole saying about "It's not over until..." I guess It's a cheap shot, but not really inaccurate.

Were they also blaring Sweet Caroline at Jack Trice this afternoon?

Isn't Mangino's tweet the equivalent of someone farting at a sewage treatment plant? Like really, what the **** does it matter?

I used to kind of like Mangino ( a bit ... ). But, since he has left the program, we know that the offense was far better without him than with him.

Now, with this tweet, we have confirmation that he's not a nice guy. Awfully vindictive.

Yeah, I don't think he'll get the players. But if he already has a job for Tommy and Blaney lined up for new jobs, he might be enough of a **** to try and completely screw Iowa State over.

It doesn't matter because there is only 1 game left, but if I were an offensive lineman or a WR, I'd have a hard time trusting Tommy or Blaney at this point. Because it would be easy to think that they would want Iowa State to lose as well.

Doubtful Blaney would go...here he's an offensive coordinator, there he would just be another assistant under the dictator Mangino. Why would he take a step back knowing he wouldn't be calling the plays.

Blaney is the OL coach, not OC

Let me get this straight..ISU fans are butt hurt, yes I said butt hurt over a tweet made by a coach who was fired by a coach that's won less than a 1/4th of his games and continues to make bone headed coaching mistakes week after week....

Get over it, it's called Karma.

I think it has been fairly well documented that Mark quit.

Man, no disrespect, but I detest when people do this. "I know something you don't but I can't say what it is."

Then don't bring it up at all. Spill it, or shut it.

Maybe Cook should spend more time practicing his shot...that 43% from the field sure isn't impressing anyone any more than Manginos play calling.

Lol....being just a tad sensitive to a little joke aren't we? Plus, the guy hasn't played basketball for a year and a half and had both hips put back together. I'm impressed.

I suspect that Mark might have a job lined up and that he will take Tommy with him.

Maybe Paul should have gotten rid of Tommy and Blaney with Mark. One has to wonder what type of poison they are spreading in the program right now.

From what everyone says, Tommy is NOTHING like Mark and is a well liked guy. I doubt he is doing anything to poison the team on behalf of Mark.

Don't you know, he should be practicing 24 hours a day. No life outside of basketball.
