Whats everyones "other team"

Nobody. My other team is Iowa State basketball. I basically lose interest in football entirely when Iowa State sucks.

This is where I am, especially this year. I can find enjoyment in football from a down year here and there, knowing that there is still a bright spot in the team I follow. However, I tend to distance myself from the sport when I see my team going right down the *******. I was a huge NBA fan when I got old enough to know the sport, but once the Bulls tanked, I lost interest. Same with the Cubs. As a Bears fan, the only thing that keeps me in the NFL is fantasy football. It was hard for me to watch much CBB during the McDermott years, and Im now losing interest in CFB.

So...you've never been interested in baseball?

I've never really had an "other team" when it comes to college football. I never felt to have one beyond the school I attended and I was too much of a bandwaggoner as a kid to really settle down with a team.

I suppose I could take some votes as to which I sould be a fan of. Any suggestions?

I don't really have another team I support so much as I have lots of teams I want to see lose:

Oklahoma
Baylor
Texas
Texas Tech
Nebraska
Ohio State
Michigan
Alabama
LSU
Notre Dame

In other words, I always root for the little guy.

I hear you. I would add Missouri and Rutgers.

The Fighting Irish in football. Basketball--don't need a fall back team.

Michigan State (after living in the Detroit metro for 4+ years I finally caved - a lot of it has to do with ******* off Walmart Wolverines as they're just as bad as Tavern Hoks)
Arizona State

Honestly it's been Baylor since 2008. They were getting rolled by Wake Forest at home so they put in this really athletic freshman qb that played really well. He won the Heisman a few years later.

I've been a season ticket holder for the Arizona Wildcats for a few years now. Rich Rod's offense is pretty damn fun to watch. I think the team could have had a pretty solid season again, but Solomon getting injured along with the ridiculous number of injuries in their LB core have made things a challenge.

I like watching well executed football. Iowa State football has pretty much sucked the life blood out of me caring about any college football. I get excited every year, then lose interest because I have no rooting interest by week 4.
Thank goodness for the NFL.
I'm ready for basketball season to start.

Utah. I had the pleasure of being their sideline ball guy when they came to town. Got a lot of swag and a free sideline view.

Lived in Bozeman, MT for years, so my second team would have to be Montana State, but if I was choosing a second FBS school it would have to be Stanford or utah.

Other than that, I go for anyone playing EIU, Nebraska, Boise St., Baylor, Texas, Florida St. and USC

Indiana

Spent my grad school years in Bloomington. Amazing hoops environment.

I'm a UNI alum and do cheer for the Panthers, but can't get into FCS football. Aside from ISU/UNI I either dislike or hate just about every collegiate team. What's the point of liking Oregon or Florida if 1) you didn't go to either school or 2) you don't live in either state? I will only cheer for teams from Iowa, and by that I mean teams that don't wear black and **** yellow
