What are you guys' thoughts on trading draft picks? This is the first year it's been enabled in my league, kind of intriguing.
I'm not quite to the point of giving up on this season, but after a few major injuries & overall busts, I'm not even sure I'll make the playoffs. If someone who thinks they won't make the playoffs tries to trade away a top 10-20 player for a first or second round pick, would you veto that?
It would likely make someone the favorite to win it all this year, but hamper them quite a bit next season. I'm somewhat torn on if it should be allowed, but in the end I think I'd let it go thru.
Note: This league is for sure going to be the same 12 people next year.
I received this offer in one of my leagues:
I trade Antonio Brown and receive A.J. Green.

Trading same position straight up doesn't make sense.
I'm a big fan of 2 for one and 3 for one trade offers. Make it seem like they're getting the better deal. Last year I traded 3 bench players (all ended up starting for him) for LeSean McCoy during his slump. He ended up bouncing back and finishing strong. He and Matt Forte gave me a solid RB pair each week.
Trading is is all about psychological warfare. Mess with their head. Offer them a bad deal, when they reject, convince them that it isn't so bad. Then turn up the offer a little bit, and they'll accept. This week I offered someone:
Demaryius Thomas, Randall Cobb, and Jeremy Hill for Todd Gurley, LeSean McCoy, and Brandon Marshall.
Obviously he didnt accept, but he needed some WR help bad, and he also had Matt Forte and Arian Foster (he drafted well). He counter offered with
Demaryius Thomas and Jeremy Hill for Todd Gurley and LeSean McCoy.
I accepted, but it got vetoed, which is fair. It wasn't a fair trade, but I still got the guy to accept (and even offer) a totally bad deal.
That's stupid. Unless there is collusion, there is 0 reason to veto a trade. People who do that just have sour grapes.

No way, Big Ben will be back soon which will help Brown. And Andy Dalton should return to normal Andy Dalton soon which will drop Green a bit.

I think it's Snead. He has a great matchup and Colston is out. The runningback situation in Dallas is just too unstable right now.
Snead. Indy might have both starting safeties out on Sunday. Unless he draws Vontae Davis in coverage he should be in line for a big day.
Too hard to say right now how the workload between Randle and Michael will be divvied up. If one of them gets a hot hand and you're playing the other guy, then you're screwed.
I have Snead in the line-up right now and he was my plan. Just thought I'd run it by the CF FF thread and I'm glad you agree.
Uh huh, suuuure. Just post your lineup & we'll set it for you, don't gotta act like you're just running it by us.
