It's sad but I trust it more in the hands of Disney than George Lucas himself. But, George Lucas 30 years ago, that's a different story.

George is a painter. The images and scenes he sets are amazing and basically tell the story without words. It's when he added words it gets dicey. It worked OK early on and got progressively worse. He should have had a partner to do the writing. That's my theory.

I wonder if the prequesl would be better if you watched them karaoke style? IE video and music, but no words. Might be an upgrade.
