Hilton Madness

@CycloneMBB: .@DeeBurton30 does it again! Still wearing the boots, he throws down an impressive 360, windmill dunk on his way to a perfect 50

@TravisHines21: Very good turnout at Hilton. Lower bowl totally full and smattering up top. 8-9,000ish, I would guess.

Happens to me every time I eat KFC. Brutal...

Can somebody tell me why they don't just give each person 30 seconds to complete a dunk, the top 4 scores advance to semis, and then the top 2 scores go head to head in the finals? How can you mess something that simple up?

This.

I feel like giving them 30 seconds to attempt as many dunks as possible is like the participation ribbon award version. Just think how anticlimactic it would have been if Jordan or Spud Webb got four tries before finally getting their dunk.

Meh, it's not like it's that big a deal. Most people show up to see the players just dunk a ball. I doubt they really care who wins. Besides, when referring to the 30 second rule, after they complete a dunk isn't their turn up anyways? So in most cases, they only use about 5-10 seconds. I feel like the 30 seconds is more the people who miss the first attempt, in which case I am perfecting fine with a player getting a second chance on a dunk.
