We are putting 30% down on our new house and the banker is still requesting documentation on assets and jobs. I have applied for four mortgages and I have never gone through so much paperwork. I would choose a different bank next time because this is getting ridiculous.
We put down just over 30% and we had to provide current paychecks and bank statements several times throughout - seemed pretty normal. Everything is online for us anyway so it wasn't more than 10-15 minutes of work to log in and grab the PDFs to send. Think they've gotten more strict on monitoring that stuff since the recession.
You did the right thing, get it looked at and go from there, hope it turns out to be no problem for you. Good luck. How's the job search going if you don't mind me asking?
Since they stopped being able to make loans to anything with a pulse and just sell it off to someone who would mix it up with a bunch of good loans and sell off to someone else.
I had to do all that which is normal but when I've provided multiple tax documents, copies of bank statements, copies of investment statements, a driver's license, but they still need more proof of documentation like a passport.
Other than brats, I haven't eaten that much pork lately. Running low, but need to make chicken stock to get a whole pile of chicken bones out of my freezer to make room for a half a hog.

We have an Autumn Blaze maple and a Dwarf Korean lilac. They wanted to do a Sienna Glenn maple, we changed it.
good call on the change, haven't run across the Sienna in my lookings. I've seen pics of that dwarf lilac - very pretty. We're skipping dwarfs since these will be kind of a privacy screen for the patio....though the pictures don't make that look very 'dwarf'.
We have a red maple out front and tons of indigenous generic maples down the hill in back. The red has dark purply leaves that go bright orange in the fall (not sure why it's a "red" maple, but oh well). It provides a pretty contrast to the rest of the green during the summer, and the yellows & golds in the fall.
