Honeslty Altmans teams at Oregon have never been fantastic. He has had a couple good years. However i would not say he totally gets it.
Coach Prohm talked to the band a couple weeks ago saying that he had just closed on a house earlier that day and that his wife and kid were still in Kentucky so I think they are still in the process of moving.
I don't see it happening. But the reports back in January were that he had requested a waiver for an extra year of eligability not to waive the residency requirement. HonestLY I would agree that is the better play. Why ask for half a season when it is assuredly going to be shot down when he had a legitimate grief issues he was dealing with that made staying in Milwaukee impossible for him. That is the kind of thing that the NCAA can't prove one way or the other and the known facts support (and it appears based on the Marquette board most of their fans even agree as legit). It doesn't seem right a guy should essentially lose 1.5 years of eligability because his mom died and he needed to get away from the constant reminders of her. Letting him use his redshirt year (as a med redshirt) would be a empathetic decision for the NCAA but as always am sure they will look @ what kind of precedent it would set (that they wouldn't follow anyway). http://www.scout.com/college/iowa-state/story/1500535-burton-prepares-for-lull-in-competition
Agreed, want both, but really want norvellIf they can get a commit out of this weekend it would be great! I think it's a bonus practice has started

Texas recruiting Long has nothing to do with Norvell. Texas has been interested to a degree for a little while now. Hope they don't offer (if they haven't).

I definitely would not say we are on the same page recruiting. We recruit with him for a lot of recruits so it seems like we're on the same page from a recruiting standpoint.
Recruiting is one aspect, coaching is another. Fred lost to a crappy UAB team in the first day of the tourney last year, but that doesn't mean he doesn't get it.
Not encouraging. Link? Pics at least or it didn't happen. Not sure if it had been mentioned or not but Long is already on campus. Toured the locker room, tried on the gold uniform. Went to a locker that had ISU jackets hanging up and he said, "this might be me one day." Visited the practice facility as well. (Via snapchat)

He's a senior
I mean freshman in college if you want to be technical. I know he is not a freshman yet but will be soon.

Durant was skinny for a high schooler. I think he ended up doing okay though.I get what you're saying but he's skinny even for a high school senior.
Also he's not coming here.
