If the police have documentation that proves the chain of custody has not been broken, wtf is this "evidence" that the attorney has?
When reading comments on CBS SportsLine, it has been suggested that the accusation is getting so beaten like a rented mule in this investigation that... (tightening tin foil hat) ...the attorney himself set up the "tainted evidence bag" in order to try and set up a civil suit that they can attempt to have settled out of court because, at this point, the accusation would be laughed out of court based on the evidence regardless of criminal or civil trial.

This really is a mess.
At this point it really seems like this is just a case of extortion. If it is I hope Kane turns around and sues her for defamation. 1 high profile case of false allegations will cause doubt in countless other actual cases, which is a shame.
