yeah I could see getting two for company - one friend is doing that right now with their Husky. We have no plans for pets any time soon though. At least not until kids are old enough to play with them. Growing up with our farm dogs always having people around/another dog buddy/ability to run around outside doesn't have me jumping to get a dog to leave home alone all day. Especially since I like more energetic/friendly dogs.DH isn't a big dog person though so it may not ever happen.

I don't know how someone could marry/love/trust someone that's not a dog person.

I love the Texas Shaggy Bevo MS Paint threads but they get mega obscene.

No one draws Peni quite as well as Thujone. Have you ever visited his Prevail and Ride website? it's all MS Paint cartoons.

Ugh, just a crappy day with lots of little things adding up--but trying to keep perspective and realize in the grand scheme these things are just minor annoyances. A drink may be in order tonight.

My parents are at the AD's reception for donors at the Director's level or above. The End Zone club is being "christened" tonight--let's hope it is with a bottle of champagne or something. ;) They were like "there will probably be lots of pictures with the Sukups". My parents actually know them quite well, they live close and go to the same church.

Neither one of us are dog people. So we ended up with a child who is one of the biggest dog lovers I have ever met.

I like dogs.........I don't love coming home from friends covered in dog hair. So I wouldn't want a house dog. DH doesn't like that they get slobber on him/jump up.....I think he had a dog try to bite him or something when he was little.

He likes the dogs at my parents' though, because they don't jump at you, slobber on you, bark all day, or have their hair all over the couch.

We both like cats a lot. I'm sure our kids will want alllllllll the pets.
