MLB: 2015 Minnesota Twins thread

Need to get Santana right or it's going to be tough to pull this off. He's sucked for the last month. Luckily the bullpen bailed him out last night.

I'm having so much fun watching this team. They are way ahead of where I hoped they would be this year. And have been really good at patching holes along the way. Good job by Molitor (and Torii Hunter) getting guys on the same page and believing.

There ain't nothing to do but win the whole f**king thing!

Apparently Hunter was quoted saying he wasn't in favor of batting 7th but he trusts Molitor...that shows leadership.

Jose Berrios could very well take a rotation spot when rosters are expanded in September.

I wish Molitor had the balls to bump Mauer down in the lineup. There's absolutely no reason a guy hitting as poorly as Mauer should be in the 3-hole.

Santana has been a major letdown. He's had only four good games for the big money the Twins finally payed out.

Will he have a enough at bats for it to count?

Technically no, he won't be a batting qualifier.

But Frank Thomas also isn't technically a qualifier, with just over half of the necessary plate appearances. Sano will come in somewhere around 2/3 of the necessary PA to be a batting title qualifier.

2012 Stanton was 1 PA short.

Sano, Rosario, Buxton, and Escobar are nice group of young players. Now if they can match that with some young pitching talent, it could be a nice future for the Twins.
