Just saw that. What are your thoughts on this?

I don't get it. Even if they deal Plouffe, they are back at the same place as last year... Mauer isn't going anywhere and Sano still relegated to DH.

Bidding on the guy? Generally OK. Whatever, he's not coming close to the numbers he put up in Korea. Just has to be better than Vargas basically. Psuedo-platoon with Arcia may be interesting.

He also played on the same team with Jung Ho Kang (Pirates 2015 SS) in 2014. Kang transitioned well. Doesn't mean anything re: Park necessarily, but interesting.



Trading Plouffe? Generally OK with it. Fine. Most logical piece to move in terms of unclogging roster crunch, and may be able to get a decent return.
