Ooops - my bad. We scored 9 points to their 7. I conflated score with turnovers, sorry!
I was just going to let it go on account of your old ladyness.

Ugh, in that same group text from yesterday I said that I'd like to be able to watch the ISU-Iowa game at 3:30 pm and most of those guys are Husker fans. "Oh Iowa has a football team???" "Yeah, the Iowa HoClones!" Ha ha. This is going to be an interesting bachelor party. I really hope NU loses to BYU so their arrogance is shot down a bit.
I'd have responded with that YouTube clip of the 8 turnover game.
Preferably set to Benny Hill music.

I think you can have dogs on campus, but they need to be on a leash. Inside buildings is another story.
HyVee though?![]()
We watched that game in our living room...every time the D forced a turnover & the O failed to score we thought it was over. Then the D would force another turnover and we'd get hopeful again. That was one of the most nerve-wracking football games I have EVER watched! We maybe sat down during halftime. Most of the second half we were pacing.![]()
the video does have that in it.

Nice! I thought there was one out there, but I couldn't find it in 3 minutes of searching quickly while eating in-between running around like a chicken with my head cut off tonight. Yeesh.

That's going to put a little kink in her business plan.
So when we lived in Nebraska, we'd go to the Iowa State - Nebraska basketball games in Lincoln. The year after the 9-7 game, the ISU game was mid to late January. Before halftime, they announced "anyone participating in the halftime ceremony honoring the Nebraska Holiday Bowl team, please meet etc. etc..." There was a large contingency of ISU students that had travelled down, sitting in the opposite corner from husband and I. After the announcement, I said "Watch, they're going to start a chant..." They allowed the PA announcer to give his spiel, but as the crowd applauded, the students launched into "9-7! *clap* *clap* *clapclapclap* 9-7! *clap* *clap* *clapclapclap*"
