Guess who the rec league manager said was mvp of our team tonight? Me! Only girl back from last year and the rest hadn't played so I took first instead of hiding in outfield. Caught people out......most of our guys couldn't catch,ha. I also had one catch my face and forgot to tag the runner walking behind me and we lost 16-2, but ***** I got 3 catches! I had none last year. Dodge ball paying off!

*edit: Also learned at the end of the article, there are private companies that are essentially playing the role of the Washington Generals to the Globetrotters...professional opponents. They fly the A-4 and stuff to keep from putting miles on the newer 22's and 35's.
I could handle that job.
So I joined a flag football league through work. I thought I would look good against a bunch of engineers. It didn't go well at all...
Hahahahaaa, suck it, weather boy...Maybe you were playing real engineers and not computer nerds.
I caught 3 people out, forgot to say. Most people were new this year - one good guy from last year was out this week. We gave up 9 the first inning, so after that it was 7 runs in 6 innings. 3-4 of which came when one guy completely missed a catch, then tried to kick it back to the infield (the kick did not go anywhere near the infield) and the runner and everyone on base (don't remember if all three were full) scored. We got a lot better as it went on. Got a lot more people on base but didn't score. The other team didn't just have a base coach, they also had a manager. Think our first game last year was pretty similar and we got better.
One of the rec softball teams I played against had a manager. Because he was really fat, like 450+ lbs.
This is kickball... which is softball's redheaded stepchild, which is baseball's redheaded stepchild.
this guy definitely wasn't hurting for food and he was smoking over there. So maybe he couldn't run. He was yelling at our guy to get the beer can outta the baseline (it was well behind it).
One of the best moves was when one of the new guys wasn't paying attention in the outfield and the ball came straight at him. I don't remember if he caught it, probably not, but he dropped the beer straight down into the grass. It was funny.
*****, I showed the ball no fear. We were joking with the other dodgeball players that it was easier because the ball was bigger and no one else was throwing anymore at you while you tried to catch it.
I definitely have room to improve but three catches is pretty amazing for me.
I picture you screaming slightly in shock every time you catch the ball, then excitedly looking at DH to get his approval that it's ok to celebrate.
I don't know where we are hiding these guys. The other teams I saw looked just as athetic. It could be a rough fall.
the first time I definitely did a little jump but I played it cool after that. It's more badass that way. I don't remember looking at DH but if I did, it was probably to be like ***** did you see that? I gave him **** when a ball went about 3 inches over his hands. He was responsible for 50% of our scoring so I can't be too mean. And he was on third with 2 outs his second time through but they caught the runner's ball. So he almost got another run.
It was annoying because she posted it, so now all her friends can see the post too. And we'll see, at this point, I see her being more of a friend. But I did go to a meet and greet for catholic students and met a cute 1L and then both if us went to a law school get together at a bar and talked more there
