I also pay someone to change my oil, just because I can. I can metrosexual this ***** all up in here.
Exactly. The whole point of going to college is to get a job, work that job, make money and pay people to do their job.

And speaking of which...CG...tell him to also get some jack stands with his jack, rotate tires when he's changing oil. You can do that while the oil is draining/filling.
These lightning strikes are intense and very close
this Boston trauma show, how is it not violating HIPPA all to pieces? What am I missing here?
Hey, Wxman, watching Smithsonian channel special on DC-3's.
I am SO old that I actually flew a United Airlines DC-3 from CR to Omaha to Denver when I was a kid. Than DC-6 to LA. Got my United "wings" somewhere that the flight attendent gave 8-year old Boxster.![]()
I miss rain..
They sign releases.
Here are the pictures I took of the DC-3 from the Smithsonian. Really cool to see the plane that was such a huge influence in aviation.Hey, Wxman, watching Smithsonian channel special on DC-3's.

After a busy weekend and the fact that I'm not sure that I want to skim through all the pages I missed; I want to know how WDSM's party was. Hope it was a fail for being so exclusive to only the beautiful, young pervs/stalkers. Also, is the over 30 party in Hawaii off since Pants won't pay for all of our tickets and won't be in Omaha at Perkins?

PapaLew insisted that the boys help whenever he was working on their cars, to learn how to do things like change the oil, replace a tranny, etc. One of our sons (who is significantly mechanically challenged) had to help change a timing belt in his car. When they finally finished it (after a full weekend spent in grease & sweat), PapaLew asked him if he felt confident that he could repair cars now. He responded "no, I feel confident that I am going to graduate, go to college, and get a job where I earn enough money to pay someone else to fix my damn cars".
Incentive. He's an asst director of res life at a power 5 university now. He pays someone else to fix his cars.![]()
didn't 2015 get an offer from Amazon?
Sounds like he dodged a bomb.

I like my women petite anyway. Half-dated/talked to a girl taller than me for a bit in college, I just couldn't do it.2015 couldn't handle the snu-snu.
No neighbor difficulties? My body still hurts, but was a success
Although I say pay someone to do your car stuff it's not like I never did car stuff. Used to do the basics on the old Nova and it was something I did with my dad. My dad was not much of a mechanic but liked doing this with me. With a small warehouse full of oil I usually got the free oil deal! Box in the trunk had oil, anti-freeze, spare thermostat, extra radiator hoses because god knows you can't drive from Manchester to Ames without all of the just in case stuff!
The old Nova had a straight six in an engine bay built for a V-8. No air conditioning. No power steering. No power brakes. Nothing but the engine running down the middle and open space on both sides. Pretty much stopped working on cars when I popped open the hood on my new '88 Honda Accord and the only thing I could recognize was the oil stick. What the hell is all of this stuff and how the hell did they cram it into this small space!
Today I can't even see the engine bay on the enclosed mid-engine Boxster.
Yea, I knew immediately I didn't wanna work there when I arrived for the interview. Most people at Amazon work two years to get a bonus on your two year anniversary and then bail. I thought all this was more public knowledge than it turned out to be. If I would've accepted, it purely would've been for a resume boost, not a long term thing.

sounds like the environment for Epic up here. They pay for a 6 week? month? sabbatical if you make it to four years.
Most don't.
And they have a crazy non-compete, I've been told, so you can't work for the hospitals or many of the other major tech companies here for a year.
