IT'S FINALLY RAINING! A nice storm popped up and went severe right over me. Had some gusty wind, lightning, but most importantly... RAIN!

This one was actually entertaining. It helped that the OP had pics and I've never heard that term used for the male anatomy, so I laughed there.
How are your nuts doing, by the way, man? Everything healing up okay?
According to the last two threads he's started, I'm pretty sure they hate him right about now.
busy day. court earlier in the day then this afternoon took my cat Tiger to the Vetmed at ISU. She was way behind on all her shots. They said they wish all cats could be as well behaved as my Tiger.
Getting a burning plastic like smell from one of the burners (electric) on my stove. Just great....
Riley literally trembles he freaks himself out so bad when he goes to the vet. My vet in Indiana jokingly said he'd make a housecall for Riley just because he can't get an accurate temp reading because Riley will make himself so sick that his temp will be several degrees higher than normal (and you can tell because he just starts burning up).
I also think part of that is from the traumatic emergency surgery that he had to have when he was younger. I don't seem to remember him being like that before then.
Ever heard a hound howl? Yeah, imagine that with a closed mouth. Whining like a big old baby...a 70# baby.
I had an older cat named Fritz who was diagnosed as hypertensive when he was 14 years old. For the last three years of his life, this meant checkups every 3 months to balance his meds and keep his blood pressure steady. He would freak out so badly in the car that he would start panting & hyperventilating and would end up foaming at the mouth by the time we got there. I would have to leave him all day, because it would take him four or five hours to calm down enough for them to get an accurate BP reading.
Does your 70# baby like to swim? Anyone else in the CR area. This weekend there is a dog swim at Beaver Park pool.
hehe...so funny you mention that with that question...no..no he does not like to swim. Did when he was a pup. We used to go out to MacBride and he'd jump right in with his leash on and everything. We also used to go to the off leash dog park, and there, you go thru a gate, take the leash off, go thru a second gate, and he'd go running. Iowa City pool also did the end of the year pool party, and we took him. Went thru a gate, took the leash off, opened a second gate, and he thought he was at the dog park, so he took off like a bullet. Ran across the deck and launched himself off the edge of the pool. Literally, at his apex, he realized what was up, and you could see him trying to push back with his paws in the air. He went all the way under, swam to the edge of the pool, then struggled to get out because the edge a pool is not conducive to a dog crawling out of it. I pulled him out by the collar, and he won't go in water that touches his undercarriage ever since.
Well, tomorrow is me and mrs00's alone morning, and then Thursday I got a lunch meeting about my boss leaving, so I'll have to catch one next time.
