I think this rejuvenated hype thread needs some video footage:

Who is the opponent in that video......the Washington Generals or the Our Lady Of The Immaculate Heart Midgets?

That video is enough to get me aboard the hype train. Can tell this kid has loads of potential. Would have liked to see him use his left, though. Think he only dribbled with his left once in the whole video.

By saying that he will most likely be going to Iowa State but NBA scouts are looking at him? What's outlandish about that?

Well you did lead off with this:
He would help ease the loss of Niang though. Two years of him would be awesome but unlikely. He could go Pro after one year here, if not sooner.

I guess you didn't specifically say NBA, but you started to back peddle shortly after.

He could go Pro after one year? What's wrong with that? The NBA loves players with size and high potential like him. I didn't rule out him going Pro until after his senior year either.

"if not sooner" would imply going pro from Juco. Not many guys make the jump to professional leagues, especially the NBA, from a Juco.

Verrrrrrry few people are first round draft picks, and most of those don't even make it in the league. As soon as the NBA gets mentioned for just about any collegiate player, it's a big stretch.

What did he say that wasn't true? NBA scouts have been watching him. There is a juco article (I think linked in this thread somewhere) written by a juco recruiting expert that said their was an outside shot he could go straight to the nba but most likely will land at a one of the schools pursuing him. The dude is legitimately good. I know that seems wierd since he was living in our back yard for a long time begging to be recruited.

Plus even if it is highly unlilkely to get drafted out of juco doesn't mean he may not try or play oversees. The kid is old and wasted 3 years trying to get eligable he may not want to wait even if it would be smart to wait. Remember he enrolled in the draft 4 years ago to test the waters. It is stupid to assume he may not consider that option.

NBA scouts watch a lot of kids...kind of their job. There is no chance he goes to the NBA straight from Juco.

Well good then. Now that you have set us straight on that. What are is chances of ending up playing for us?

You said 2 years of him was "unlikely".
