I saw Rob Schneider do stand-up in KC about 2 years ago. I wasn't really looking forward to it, but he put on a good set. I'd actually forgotten about it until his name got brought up in here.

So I'm some type of cannibal, if I'm remembering my pop culture references correctly.

This. THIS I could totally be.

Me if I was actually standing next to Rob Schneider.

I keed I keed.

I would have to wear my heels to look like this.

I was going to suggest it was you and Tom Cruise, but the woman in the picture would have to be bending down.

Sounds like something someone not wanting to admit they lost the bet would say......

the part where the cute little snuggle bug required two failed epidurals and a failed 30 hour induction put a damper on the snuggle bug cuteness.

I've got 45 days to win the bet. I'm going to win.

My OB always said he thought epidurals caused more C-sections because women couldn't push as well. I always thought he was probably just a sadist, but did without.

Nothing turns off the mamawannabe instinct like labor horror stories! ;)

she was having a rough last few weeks here too (she's my current manager). Went on leave a few days before the dude date........baby went 8 days over. Oye. Baby was totes normal-sized, too.

Did feel nice holding him when he was sleeping all snuggly. I can maybe see how they say it's worth it for that

we were joking how she surely got charged for both anyway. I wonder if you can demand a refund on a failed epidural.

And every mom wants to share hers. It's like the mother's version of a wiener measuring contest.

mommy wars! This one started (that sounds like it was a mommy war convo, totally was not) because we are talking about exciting insurance things like what is covered or not and they were saying which hospital who did/didn't have an epidural and new mom is like well they tried but she'd like a refund!

I knew hers must have been bad because we emailed the day before her induction and she mentioned being excited to be done and when the baby announcement came half a week later.......I counted and realized that Friday morning to Sunday afternoon is a looooooooooooooooong time.

No drugs with either. I lived to tell the tale. :)

He gave me one shot of Demerol on first baby thinking it would help me relax and improve contractions. I slept through one contraction and then it was bad as ever. But hey, I slept for three minutes. And subsequent babies, nothing, but it all goes faster as you go along. And I really shouldn't complain, even the first one was only 10 hours.

First was back labor - mild twinges beginning mid-afternoon Christmas day. Born ~1.00a on the 27th, 3-1/2 weeks early.

Second ticked me off because he did NOT come early. :). Born ~12.45a ON his due date. Four hours start to finish. Even if I was pregnant longer with second son, I'll take four hours over a day & a half ANY time! :)
