I am debating to see if it is worth being on call during holidays. You get 5x salary for that day for my company/function.
Don't ever try to get your hair cut the day before a holiday. As a 28 year old I should have this figured out by now.
It also took my way too long to learn that now matter how nice of a barber I go to, my hair is going to look like crap for the first week or so, so if I'm gettin it cut for a specific reason, I need to do it two weeks before that. Didn't learn that until I was about 29.

Yep, had to shake one out of my shoe just today.
I'm celebrating Independence Day Eve by myself. Just went on a liquor run. Got a handle each of Captain Morgan, Tito's, Evan Williams, and Seagram's 7. Just lit the grill and threw a couple butterfly pork chops on. Not going to get fancy with sides tonight, green beans will do. I'm starving already!
Same here for the most part. One roomate is back home in upstate NY and the other is down in NYC with family. I went with woodford reserve and cheeseburgers. I need to figure out what to do for dinner tomorrow night.
I do think it's funny that the weekly email I get from the boot camp I go to said if you are going to drink on the 4th you should go with hard liquor as it will have fewer calories than beer or mixed drinks. That's right, my trainer reccomends getting liquored up for the 4th.
about 46# of meat vacuum bagged for the freezer, we grilled hot dogs for dinner. Drinking a bottle of wine we got on the church wine tour last weekend.
they gave us $200 PER PHONE if we turned them in today! And they transferred everything! Plus a total of $200 in credits for switching. I couldn't believe we got anything for the phones. They said as long as they work they'll give the credit.
