How do our facilities compare to others?

Yes. Any football player knows that balls hitting rafters of a tin shed instead of traveling cleanly through the air of a much better facility is a big deal. You see they actually kick footballs in the isu facility.

Going to guess that since Iowa's facility has just been completed versus our older, smaller facility that they're outdoing us at this point. We're consistently ahead of the curve in facilities (hoops, too) so I think this is probably a temporary condition.

BTW, I might get a chance to see Iowa's facility in the next couple of weeks thanks to my dad and idiot brother so I will get a first hand look.

If Iowa has such a better program why over the last 20 years is this series split 10-10? Why is it in 8 of those ten wins for ISU, they have went on to have a better or equal season to Iowa? The 2 exceptions are 2014, where Iowa wasn't a good team, but had a good record and 2002 when ISU had a good team but the record didn't show it. Sure Iowa has had some higher highs and lows are not as low as ISU's but it is not like that program is as great as Iowa fans tell you it is.

I've never denied that my family is relatively well connected to Iowa. I've said it from the start of my posting experience. I wish I were able to make it to Ames more often than I do but life doesn't allow.
