How do our facilities compare to others?

Seems like half of Iowa's facility is given to hallways with tributes to try to help them feel good about themselves and forget they are in Iowa City!
Yeah and it looks impressive. It would be foolish for a program to not try and sell itself through its history and awards.

For big games, especially big night games, the atmosphere and energy in Nebraska's stadium is pretty impressive. I was at their game against Miami last fall and it was pretty electric.

Agreed. I've been to two games at Nebraska. One vs K-State and the other vs Iowa. I hate Nebby as much as the next guy, but they have a pretty sweet set up. Always had a good time tailgating there too.

Uh no... Nebraska and tailgating? Kind of like a hawk fan bragging about tailgating. We can build houses or buildings around our stadium to have no tailgating too.

And who exactly are u a fan of? 17 posts? Just curious. Some new faces in this thread pumping sunshine about other teams.

It's too bad I have been there....not impressed.

Been to Kansas, nebraska, ksu, oklahoma, iowa, tcu, and missouri to actual games.

Iowa is included in that group?

ISU has a great tailgating atmosphere. I wasn't attempting to compare. I simply said I had a great time tailgating in Lincoln. I don't really understand why people like to compare tailgating atmospheres. Quite frankly I see them all to be pretty similar. Lots of fans making good food, drinking some booze, and looking forward to some football. In some cases the fans are more spread out and in some places they are more squeezed together. Every place I've been has had different parking areas that offer both types. Tailgating is all about who you're with and who is around you. That's all it takes for me to have a good experience. Being in a field with thousands of other fans isn't any different to me than being in a parking lot with a couple hundred fans. Either way you're only really experiencing the atmosphere immediately around you. If that's great then I have a good time.

Just watched Uof I facility tour. We have everything that they have, except ISU does not have the goof off room, (xbox, PS4, pool table, etc...) Their facility is bigger than ours but they spent more money on it as well. Their team room is alot nicer but the rest of the classrooms look about the same.

Overall I think we have similar, but smaller, facilities than Iowa. Considering where we came from before this, I think we are doing pretty good to have what we have. More wins. more bowl money, will definitely help keep our upgrades going.

I just saw a video of it too...and you're on drugs. Outside of the tiger hawks, black and gold uniformed pictures that place is awesome and light years ahead.

Total posts 39.....

Their indoor facility is a tin shed. Next.
