Guys, I think I'm onto something here, the next big fad in exercise. Take a block long walk, then a half hour nap. I'll call it Low Impact Interval Training, or LIIT. We'll sell t-shirts (and tank tops for the dooshbros) that say "GET LIIT!!!"

I sell some fitness tshirts online, maybe non fitness fitness shirts will be my new market.

I'm not sure which of the two I hate worse there....

I knew the grandfather-in-law for several years before he died, they lived in Wisconsin and we just didn't go there unless we were summoned. He made Archie Bunker seem sweet and tolerant. He always called me "the mick." Husband had to tell me what that meant. So when the cousin and I were helping the grandmother-in-law with dinner, and someone asked if she needed help, he said, "No, the slut and the mick are out there helping her." Repulsive as he was, he didn't pull a knife and rape a child. There is a reason even guys in prison are repulsed by those pedos.

yeah how about we tie them both together and toss into the ocean. They're both awful but for the grandfather to say **** like that makes him pretty ******* despicable.

reminds me of King James, Matthew 18:6: But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Admittedly, I'm certainly reading that from a wrong-minded personal vengeance mindset, but I'll admit that people who harm children will be the last remaining group of people who I will wish to exactly my own justice on. Double so for those who should be loving them rather than harming them.

(I should specify that this is not from personal betrayal, but from the standpoint of a father of two awesome little boys.)

I can almost put forth the argument that the mental damage the grandfather did may have been worse. Hard to get past something when you're being told that it now defines your life and self-worth. Plus he's someone who should love and care for her. That's a hell of a betrayal.

Almost makes it worse.

His shaming, as a supposed trusted person who loves her, probably caused nearly the same amount of damage.

Sometimes I think the US would be a lot more accepting when the really old seniors all die off, but then things like the shooting in Charleston happen and I realize we'll always be ****ed.

I too, wonder what the turning point will be.

Beat me to it.

I suppose. She has nightmares about the rape still decades later. I think we all just figure the grandfather hated everyone.
