Don't know why, but that story reminded me, we were going hiking one time with der hund before the kids were born. Now, he's a foxhound, but he's never hunted a lick. His dad was the missouri state champion foxhound one year, but this boy....has it cushy. He loves getting out in the woods and sniffing around, but he also loves a good snooze on the bed/couch/living room floor/front porch/back deck/on the floor in the basement..you get the picture.

So we're out in the boonies headed to some obscure state or county park, and we turn onto this gravel road and there's a family of fox crossing the road. Momma and 3 or 4 babies. Kinda had to skid to a stop, but they got off the road. So we're both hollering at the dog to get up and see...I mean, he's a foxhound, and he'd never seen a fox, but nope, he's too busy sprawled out across the entire back seat of the 2005 Ford pieceofshit (I mean Focus) with his legs straight out snoozing away. We woke him up, but he couldn't be bothered to actually roust himself vertical and take a peek.

Sounds like my golden retriever. At three years old he is slowly starting to learn the retrieving part of his name. Normally he just likes being chased.

You guys were beary lucky to avoid hitting it! I guess you could say you bearly missed it.

Okay, I'll stop now.

What the ****, GTO? You've been gone far too often lately. You need to quit that ****** job and move to Hawaii where we can do our podcasts from the beach.

Is it bad that I'm a little disappointed that the most successful thread I've ever started on here isn't a smarmy, sarcastic one and is instead a straightforward, serious one?

Ehh...not too surprising, the smarmy, sarcastic ones are like the crazy b****es from the bars...dayum, they're fun, but everyone knows they're not going to last. A good, straight one can last, but still be fun.
