How do our facilities compare to others?

Assume that was before major renovations in 1999, 2004 and 2010, which combined cost over $300 million, added 93 luxury boxes, 12,000 seats and the largest video screen in college football. It is old, sure, but light years ahead of almost any college football stadium in terms of capacity and amenities. And I'm not really ripping so much as adding to the "arms race" discussion.
Just watched Uof I facility tour. We have everything that they have, except ISU does not have the goof off room, (xbox, PS4, pool table, etc...) Their facility is bigger than ours but they spent more money on it as well. Their team room is alot nicer but the rest of the classrooms look about the same.
Overall I think we have similar, but smaller, facilities than Iowa. Considering where we came from before this, I think we are doing pretty good to have what we have. More wins. more bowl money, will definitely help keep our upgrades going.

I've been to memorial three times in the last 8 years. It is a big erector set with most people sitting in the end zones and the west/east grandstands are old and ******.
I wasn't impressed.
Nebraska is big. That is all. Big. Many of the seats are horrible. I've sat in them. But their tunnel walk is pretty awesome.

No thanks. That money needs to be spent on other things in the state. Also if ISU got $4M Iowa would get $12M and UNI would get $14M.
America has awesome Football stadiums and sports arenas, and crappy collegiate R&D labs, airports and traffic roads.
I've been wishing for fireworks at JTS for years. Maybe I need to bring in a couple big bags of empty beer cans the athletic dept can return for the necessary cash.
The ISU wieght room is every bit as good as Oregon's. They have a much larger facility and the extra benefits they get are far and above what we get. One theme I noticed from watching a couple of these videos is the football team has their own dining center. And it seems that the team is encouraged to spend their down time together in the team facility. We don't have anything like that. The bball team does but the football team doesn't really have that I have seen.
Their indoor facility and practice field do not even compare to isu.
The isu indoor facility is still one of the best in the nation. It's bigger than most and taller ceiling.
Take a look at Georgia sometime. Many of you guys criticizing isu's facilities really need to do some research.

I was never impressed with Nebraska's stadium. It was a maze to get to your seat and the sight lines were terrible.

Haverhill U B D Greatest...."Wish ISU Recruiting Footprint"...........U nailed it ....The difference between Texas and ISU is that the Horns footprint is the whole state of Taxess...Ours (ISU)...is the city of Ames and maybe Central IA.
Until recruiting gets a whole lot better we will just keep bringing up the rear in the Big XII
I personally think Missouri is going to just take off. With their entrance to the SEC, they revamped everything. They will be making SEC money and after having won the SEC East twice in their first 3 years, I bet they are going to make some nice improvements. They are continuously trying to add bells and whistles. In their last year in the Big 12, they installed the world's largest touch screen to one of the facilities.
Missouri is still catching up to isu on the indoor facility. Talking about building a new one.
As I said before, many of you just don't get that isu has had one of the best indoor facilities in the nation for the last 10 years etc.
In some ways schools are trying to catch up to isu.

Once Tennessee and Florida get their **** together we will all forget about Mizzou. Facilities or not, Mizzou should be getting their *** kicked.
SEC east has been really weak.
