NBA: *** Official 2015 NBA Playoffs Thread ***

Also would love to see Michael Jordan try to win a Finals with this Cavs team, considering all six of his Bulls teams were infinitely more talented than these Cavs teams - before the injuries.

Not only team but coach. To even come up with a comparison for Phil and Blatt is disrepectul to Phil no matter how gigantic of a gap it would be.

Not saying Lebron is definitely better than Jordan overall, but I'm not sure Jordan would take this supporting cast all the way to the finals.

Another thing we learned today, one bad game by Steph Curry in the playoffs rules him out for ever being compared to Jordan.

Steph Curry is great, don't get me wrong, but he's just a jump shooter... that's it. A great jump shooter, but nothing much else to his game. Decent passer I suppose. But Jordan was multi dimensional.

well the Cavs won't get swept, still think the series is over

Yeah it reminds me a lot of the Spurs series last year. Spurs lost game 2 last year too and came out and won it in 5. Warriors are clearly the better team, they came in quite overconfident which wasn't a big surprise (with Kyrie out).

I think Jordan or Kobe could get past the Celtics, an injured Hawks team, and Bulls with no Pau for some big games.

No doubt Jordan was clutch, but the one major thing that helped with Jordan being clutch is he didn't have 3 defenders draped all over him because the defense had to respect the other players on the floor.

No doubt. I just laugh at people who think Jordan would lead this Cavs team to the best record in the NBA and a cakewalk to the NBA solely because he's Jordan. Sorry - these people don't live in reality.

The NBA has to be thrilled with how the Finals have gone so far. First 2 games go into OT with the series now tied 1-1. Can't ask for much better than that as a sports fan.

Clearly the better team???? They are one LBJ shot at the end of game one from being down 0-2 at home!

Maybe, but MJ also had an all time top 50 player next to him. When Scottie wasn't there, Mike didn't go too far in the playoffs.

Not to mention when the GOAT wasn't there that top 50 player took that team to the playoffs.

Yes, Jordan is unquestionably GOAT. But it's ridiculous how people act like it was Jordan and nobody else on that team.

Jordan was weak in the 80s. He knew he had to lift like crazy to get past those Pistons teams. Once he gained that strength, he turned the Bull into the team of the 90s.

Or once Pippen became an elite player and the Bulls got a better supporting cast they became the team of the 90's

He may have put in the work to make the Bulls the team of the 90s, but it would have been the team of never had the Bulls not made Pippen his right hand man.
