Didn't go through proper channels, had the wrong number, got laughed at? It's been known that all of those were contacted, not really newsworthy at this point.

Hornacek is the only guy I'd want over TJ. All the other guys don't do a thing for me. Prohm won't come to the Midwest from the South IMO, Drew won't want to play against his brother twice a year or possibly more.... and Underwood will always be looking to get back to KSU. Yuck. Give me TJ every day of the week over these guys.

I'm already sick and tired of this search and it's only been one day.

Just get it over with and promote TJ already and let's move forward. I haven't seen any other possible candidates talked about that I'd want over TJ yet, except for Hornacek, and he ain't coming here, sorry.

As I figured, no big name guys are banging down our door to come coach here, that should be obvious by now. Even as good as we've been, nobody knows who Iowa State is. TJ is the best candidate IMO, so just do it already and let's move on.

We cut our teeth on the conference realignment threads of yesteryear. We've seen banned accounts on fire off the shoulder of the Cave. We've watched gifs glitter in the dark near the Meme Gate. All those ... posts will be lost in time, like tears...in rain. Time to lock.

I am honestly trying to gauge the perception of Iowa State basketball in the coaching community. If these folks, would laugh at the thought, then that's disappointing and should be a wake-up-call to the fan base.

The guy has lived and worked virtually his entire life in the south.... specifically the southeast. He wouldn't have any connections in the Midwest at all as far as recruiting goes, and I had heard on the radio today that it's doubtful he'd be interested in leaving the south.

Here again, he'd be a guy that would leave as soon as possible to take a job down south IMO. I know we're just a stepping stone school, but I just think TJ would be here longer.
