I always used my ties and socks for that. A watch is all fine and dandy to show style, but when you wear the same one every day, it stops being style and starts being just a watch.

Why do you think women switch out their purses so often?


I don't really switch purses. I have my everyday one, one crossbody I used to use for shopping/out and about because it's lighter, and a little wristlet when I only need credit card and phone. Oh, and two nice looking clutches for weddings. So that's 5, I guess with 2 really in use. If I got a new one, it would replace the wristlet and crossbody one. Especially since any larger of a phone won't fit into the wristlet. Sad times.

But I know a lot of women use them as more fashiony things. I use necklaces and scarves for that. I worry about what mtown says - forgetting things if I switch all the time. Like when I took my wristlet downtown for a birthday party at a bar and forgot my ID this winter. I was happy and sad they believed that I was over 21 and let me in.

I decided the other week to get back into running instead of just using the stairclimber and bikes, and now my lower back is sore as hell. Guess I need to look up some stretches.

This happened to me when I first started running. Not sure if it was my running posture or just muscles needing to get stronger. I'll lob another softball to Pantsy, but I did stretches on the bed because it was less 'harsh' on my back compared to the floor. I did that thing where you put your arms out and rotate legs to each side - actually, here's a pic thing. #12 but I did some of those other lower back as well. I noticed it hasn't been an issue since then even though my running hasn't always been steady - not sure if doing lower back exercises like supermans helped with that.

So after I went for my first run in a month on Sunday my quads were just dying yesterday. So I go to my gym class and apparently it was squat and lunge day. FML. I can usually do lunges until the end of time but I had to stop a couple times because it just hurt along the outsides toward my knee and not in the good way. Still pretty sore today. Guess I need to go running more often!

I own one and it's buried in the closet. Detest purses - just carry money and credit cards in my pocket. Never understood women that carry huge purses to games.

I always thought you were supposed to stretch before, but it actually seems to help me more to stretch after. May just be old lady anatomy.
