For Velo and Vikes.

Bike ride summary: 25 miles, hot, humid, windy

General Fitness Level Grade: B

Age Adjusted Fitness Level: B+

MILC (Like to Cuss Out) Sightings: One, the nasty lady in the swagwagon who honked her horn repeatedly and made hand gestures because the guy in front of her had the audacity to stop and let some pedestrians and me cross at the crosswalk.

MILT (Like to Thank) Sightings: The nice soccer mom who stopped her swagwagon to let us cross at another crosswalk. Never mind that the people in the other lane continued to blast through at 35 mph.

Inattentive Biker Award: The gal trying to pedal up a steep hill while holding out her cell phone on speaker and yelling into it who swiveled left and almost hit me.

Best Looking Toned Calves: The gal riding in flip flops at Lake of the Isles. World Class.

Achievement Award Earned: Walleye sammich at Maynards!

"Thank" can mean a lot of different things

that one thread had nothing to do with spreadsheets. I didn't even know what he was talking about.
He was actually talking about flowcharts and process flows, not spreadsheets. Seems he's trying to get a free alternative to MS Visio. All I ever use is Visio, so I can't help there.

Sometimes what you guys talk about make me feel not so smart, but also helps let me know I'm not a nerd.

I've heard of Visio....think DH used that for something. I stick to lists.

I forgot to mention how I almost died this weekend. So we are at the Dells at a gas station letting the dogs (not mine) out. We are parked at the edge of the parking lot, where there is a ditch in front of us. We are all getting back in the car and just as we shut our doors, this guy on a riding lawnmower about 20 ft from us starts mowing the ditch, but he turned the blades on too early as he was going over some gravel. I knew what was going to happen and sure enough a rock hit my window. I'm lucky the window was closed. My friend sure had some choice words.

BTW, you ain't seen nothing, yet, I haven't even started on shower beers with you.

We agree on shower beers!

Really though, I'm pretty sure this is the only thread where we could have had that discussion civily in public and everything wouldn't have gone to hell in a hand basket (with me).

just read a comment about someone saying they were "overweight, eh probably low end of obese at this point"

and they said they are 5'4............and 220lbs. Yikes. That's way past an overweight BMI :\

I don't mean to sound all judgy but that mindset just struck me since that's basically my height. I asked DH what he would call low end of obese on me (sure he thought that was a trap!) and it was quite a bit lower than that.
