Pants going scorched earth on this thread.
Barbecue or Sloppy Joe? I say Barbecue
How could you not like peanuts in a candy bar? Stupid people.
Barbecue or Sloppy Joe? I say Barbecue
Barbecue.
Two completely different things.
Nowwait, what???? Chaser, are you wondering what to eat, or whether a sandwich made with ground meat and seasonings is called a Barbecue or a sloppy joe?
'Cause if you're asking the second question, I will drive to Wisconsin and slap your face for calling that a barbecue, and I only liked 55's post because I thought you were asking what to have for dinner, barbecue or sloppy joe, and I thought 55 was saying you should have barbecue, and I like that, but if y'all are talking about ground beef with seasonings and sauce, and you're calling that a 'barbecue', well, I don't even know what to say to you, that's an abomination of my senses...to refer to barbecue as anything other than meat cooked over a fire of some form...I don't even know what to say right now, I need some time to process this.
The future Mrs Hopp is 7 years younger than me as well
I love when people threaten bad reviews or lawsuits at my job because they can't do whatever they want with their retirement money when they aren't retired.
Yea, but you're in like your 40's.
Maybe I was the one that misinterpreted?
Two completely different things.
Need more Hoiberg threads. Teeheeheee.
Yeah my fault, I should have worded it better. I'm asking what do you call it. I also don't refer to meat cooked over fire as barbecue.
...............
I'm going to lock my door....
I don't think so...because now that you say that, I do believe there are some nutbar ****ers that refer to that as a barbecue, and it's probably Wisconsin people, because they took all the outdoor cooking terms and use them for different ****.
I was in Kohler one time and someone asked me if I did a lot of frying, and I was like, well, not really, although I would like to try one of those turkey fryers (this was before I had one, natch)...and they were all "Oh, man everyone frys all the time up here, burgers, hot dogs, steaks, we're frying out all the time." And then, I was all "wait, you deep fry steaks, like as a regular thing?" And they were all, "oh, no, sorry, we call 'frying' what I think other people call 'grilling?'...I forgot you're not from here"
At that moment, I decided "I don't know if I might move here (had an interview at Kohler), but if I do, there is no way in **** that I will ever call 'grilling' 'frying'...
