Nope, me and CG are going to work on our arms. 55, Carvers, and Sara can join us. KC can supervise in her condition.

I have thrown around hay bales before when I wasn't an antique (the little rectangle ones) and my arms are still sad. I did make it to six pull-ups yesterday before the rain. Can almost see a muscle if I squint.

Pour me a glass of wine and I'll supervise... :)

Pour me a glass of wine and I'll fall asleep halfway through.:notworthy:

I'm thinking jsb has other areas that are higher priority than arms right now.

So did any of you young bucks watch "The Wonder Years"?

Yow. Za.

Seriously weather just stop it already. Freeze warning for two counties is SE Minnesota. Not up north but southeast on SD border.

I'm convinced whatever food service they contract for Hilton makes all the popcorn for the year at once and they keep it in a secrect underground storage facility. At least that is what it tastes like. ;) I usually make a bag of microwave popcorn at home and bring it in with me when we go to Hilton.

Yeah, they used to have staff in at the end of summer making garbage bags full of popcorn like you saw in the pic. They could then on game day fill up each stand's popcorn machine with pre-popped corn, make one batch of popcorn each to fill up the concourse with popcorn smell and be ready to open doors. I try not to think about this if I ever have occasion to eat it.

People on this site are stupid. Like, really stupid.

Unrelated topic:

Birdy (or other baking peoples), do you use cannisters to store stuff like flour, sugar? Any recommendations? I always thought they were mostly for show but now dealing with holey, messy bags, DH and I are like we need these. I gave myself a paper cut on the flour bag one time. Not ok.

Yes. If you want your flour, sugar, powdered sugar and brown sugar to keep, especially when it gets humid out, a set of canisters that seal up airtight are highly recommended. Also will help you to not find critters in your flour. That will put you off your vittles in a hurry.

Yep, I have canisters. What Velo said.

do you have any that you like? There are many choices and many seem on the small side. I like the look of glass ones, but it seems like metal ones have better lid styles that seem like they'd be more airtight. Cause yeah, no bugs in mah food, please.
