If you insist. I won't cut it until tomorrow, otherwise I will be too tempted. And the entire 1.5 lbs of butter is in this pan.View attachment 33671
Seriously, Birdy, when are you going to finally cave and accept my offer of marriage?

WANT.
With your current housing sitch...I'm not sure if you mean the cookie, or the granite countertops, or the backsplash, or the little owl guy, or the believe thingy....
I actually only noticed the giant pink sprinkled cookie.
Oh, these are off limits for the kids.Oh my Birdy, here my kids were happy with green finger jello tonight.:wideeyed:
Guys. I'm starting to think Birdy isn't going to actually run away with me and bake for me every day.
****, this is starting to feel like that YouTube/Twitter girl all over again.

Now you know I can bake, but I don't do vegetables. So you would still have to cook all your own meals.
Back when I got out of managing, I took the job I have now because I wanted to prep to replace my current manager, and my current job was the one that I hadn't done that would prep me for it. However, since changing, my current boss' role took on some stuff that I really don't want anything to do with, plus, I read this article that says above a certain income level, higher income doesn't necessarily correlate to higher happiness (essentially mo' money, mo' problems), and I'm right around that level and think there's something to it, so I was kind of thinking I was pretty happy where I was.
So at my review a little over a week ago, the subject of "b****, get me on first shift" came up, and we had a discussion, one of the things mentioned was 'well, if you want to move up, then *this*", and I was all "well, not sure I do anymore, I'm kind of happy leading from within the team, and I can't stand being in a f'ing office all day" and he made some comment about this or that, and it seemed odd...he talked other secret stuff with me, so I figured there was more to it, but you learn not to pry too much, lest the door close on all of it.
Well, today my boss mentions that he's taking a temporary reassignment to a higher position in another area and I was all "ohhhhhh"....
That sucks. I feel I'm at the same spot with my job. My wife asks me if I want to take my boss's position and I tell her I really don't. I see what he has to do and I really want none of it at this time in my life. I'm happy where I'm at right now.Back when I got out of managing, I took the job I have now because I wanted to prep to replace my current manager, and my current job was the one that I hadn't done that would prep me for it.
