Nooooo, it's much deeper.
It's a legendary 1974 dissertation that essentially argues that everyone in Wisconsin either wishes they were dead, wants to kill someone, or is just plain suicidal. Instead of words, the author used scores of photographs related to death......

I mean, Madison is nice. I don't know what else to say to this.

ha, joke's on you, I don't live in Madison! That Zimmerman died the summer or two before I was interning up here. They still had billboards and stuff for it.

I know you don't live in Madison, the groundhog thing...and sure, it was before you, but the thing is....it's still unsolved......

Dun, Dun, Duuuuun...

Full disclosure, CG...I don't know that it was "never" solved, but I just googled 'unsolved murder Madison WI" and grabbed the first decent link.

Rest easy, WDSM PM'ed me and said that tonight he'll point the binoculars outward instead of inward, and he's gonna be the Kevin Costner to your Whitney tonight.

he's such a pal.

I've never seen that movie.

Catching up on this thread is almost like DVR'ing something awesome and watching it later.

KC - I have no idea if there are any single women on here, but I bet WDSM knows who they are...where they live...what they're wearing right now, etc

Mtown - puppy gif went un-commented on, but that was damn cute.......ha ha ha ha

Boxter - That friggin song had me stumped. I kept thinking it had to be Seger. I love a good music test though.

Stormchaser - I'm glad your weather is nice, but living near a cemetery.....hell no

Revkah - one Billy Idol song? White Wedding, Rebel Yell, ok, that's all I got

Birdy - my daughter is almost completely top 40, but I caught her singing along with me to some 311 and Paul Simon.

00 - nice scimitar reference. There would far less liquor store robberies if clerks wielded scimitars. Or chainsaws, yeah, that would be badass

Cash - what's the big day?

Velo - teach your daughter the throat punch defense next time one of her friends makes fun of her for dissing Bohemian Rhapsody

Ring and Pantsy - Clapton is awesome. He just makes it look so easy.

CG - Get your future roof covered by hail insurance. Also look into collision insurance for your house in case a certain spouse parks in the garage. And I had to look up IANAW, so thanks for making me feel old.

I had a test Thursday, found out I got an A.

I had a presentation yesterday afternoon, did well, got an A.

Played in a local all-star game back where I'm from, got the game winning basket. Then got the rebound to seal the deal. Game was on local TV, too bad I won't be home enough to watch the replays of it :jimlad:

People noticing my physique has changed even from last year.

All in all, I give the day an A.

Can you feel ticks in your hair/on your scalp? Long story short I was in a place with a lot of trees with friends and scratched my head, and something that could have been a bug body is what I scratched off. It was kinda dark so I couldn't see it. This is kinda a huge jumbled mess but it's almost 1 and I'm tired but not tired enough to get myself to bed.

Yes. Not to alarm you, but the tick head is probably going to release all of it's eggs into your head now and slowly drive you mad until you're cutting into your scalp with a rusty hunting knife.

Probably should have just touched it's butt with a burned match.

Tis the season to start replacing scary spider stories with ticks and wasps!

I lieu of Fred Hoiberg's "Get your heart checked" advice I need to report back. Did my stress test last week and all is good. So the alien inside me is not heart related.

Ran past the 85% heart rate and they ask you to keep going. At 105% of my age group (hey, I can SEE your big monitor there!) she asks "Is this harder than you usually workout?" I am thinking "Duh, aerobic level is 85% and I am a little old to be pushing past the anaerobic level training" but I settle for a polite "Yes".

At least I know if I do hit 100% and more on some of the hills I bike (like the one only a mile from the house, that my heart is healthy enough for it. :)

And back to bike shopping this afternoon.
