Well, did taxes (that didn't take long). I owe the fed the equivalent of 50 bottles of wine plus 50 Haralson apple half-pies.
Looks like state is going to be similar. Going to owe Minnesota the equivalent of two new Trek 7.2 FX hybrid bikes.
Got to figure out the e-file payment stuff. Only had modest refunds since I started e-filing and never had to pay in this way.

That is about what we owe the Feds. Getting a little more than one Trek 7.4fx back from KS though.
Good luck. When my friend sold his house in New Orleans they listed it around 20k higher as well and it sold for asking price in less than a week! He did have to drop some coin to replace the air conditioner as it completely died on him as the buyer was doing their last walk through though.
Ooops, misread my summary. I owe Minnesota FOUR Trek FX 7.2 bikes. Plus a 1/2 pie penalty for underpaying. Seriously, a $6 penalty.
Had a bunch of income I didn't get regular statements on and found the fed was withheld but not the state. Fixed it towards the end of the year but still = big underpay.

I lived in Indiana and Hawaii equal months last year. Indiana is paying me 60 bucks. I owe Hawaii 1300.

Hey now I am pretty proud of getting called that. I rarely provoke anyone to the point of name calling so I consider it a little bit of an added bonus.
Plus I thoroughly enjoy calling out B.S. and stuff like that.
This is going to sound girly and I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but I've been using conditioner in my hair lately, and you can noticeably tell a difference. I'm kind of amazed.
My hair is never longer than 1/2", so I don't even shampoo anymore, but when my beard gets wiry in the winter, I use conditioner on that, and it does definitely soften it.
Maybe your 4 YO is just really gifted at political science and is using the correct technical term
