Posted the video of the Samoan dance on Facebook. Right at the end someone runs up and puts a dollar in the employees's shirt.

I'm seriously going to look into seeing if Staples can print up something like that for some sandwich boards.

I'm trying to get back to Maui some time next week.

I saw the signs around for Fire Dept T-shirts, suspected (and I was right) that the proceeds go to the Fire Department benevolent foundation (takes care of the families if a fire fighter is hurt or killed in the line of duty)...thought hey, instead of just buying some tourist trap kitsch, why not buy something that has a good cause to it. Got one for me and for my dad (who was a small town volunteer fire fighter for years).

Funniest thing I'll never forget, I go into the station and ask about them, this very Hawaiian/Pacific Islander looking guy comes out in his FD blues, look down and see his name tag: Kaufmann.
