Walking Dead

The group at Woodbury did something like that where they had some noise maker drawing the zombies to a pit they would all fall into. Then they came by later and burned them I think. Seems like a better idea than a wood chipper since a wood chipper would be a ***** to clean out after a few zombies. Bones would jam it up in no time.

They kept some(or all?) for their 'games'.

But, I would have a dry moat surrounding where I live with a couple chippers going in it, maybe some spikes, then burn it out once in while.

EDIT: One of those things in the post above would be nice to reach down in the moat to take care of the ones that don't make it into the chippers.

why can't the chipper be the noise lure too? rigged up next to a fall pit with a walking ramp to the chipper?

It obviously would, but I would also think that the sirens horns travel further. Maybe not, but I'm thinking about clearing square miles of land from walkers. Set up a couple dozen "zombie kill" machines that draw them in and they you don't have to get attacked every time you set foot out side of your walls.

It would also draw humans to the area, which may be worse, but Carol seems to have as strategy for them.

It's amazing what they can get away with on TV these days. Poor Noah's death is one of the grossest things I've seen in ever.

Speaking of...someone mentioned how disposable of a character he was, which leads to the question of why he was ever introduced in the first place if he was only going to be in a few episodes anyway.

Disposable characters. See below. (Hint: never wear a red shirt.)

Nerdy Lt Governor was also trying to find some with "life" in their eyes to try his experiments on "curing" them...

We watched the last two back to back last night. The horse really upset me...but holy cow...just a set up for Aiden & Noah! It seems that whoever it was that called these people soft (Carl, maybe?) was only scratching the surface. They're soft, they're cowardly, they're incredibly stupid, their wall looks like it's backwards...PapaLew keeps asking "how the hell did these people survive this long???"

Isn't that obvious? They developed his character to the point we liked him, that way when he died in this episode, it would be emotionally impactful. Both sad that he died, and ****** at the coward who got him killed. Not to mention he played an important role in the Beth/hospital storyline.

The last episode would have been completely different without his death. That is an answer in and of itself.

Noah's death was great. What an intense scene. I can't wait to see what happens in these last 2 episodes.
Just in case anyone hasn't heard, the season finale is going to be 90 minutes instead of 60.

I usually don't get worked up by much. But I was upset at the show when I watched the episode last night. I hate these ******* Alexandria people. Rick is gonna start swinging his **** around real soon I hope.

great episode last Sunday. it even satisfies the Daryl crowd... who wasn't a factor in the episode.

I wonder if they introduced Noah so we might get a little background about his group. Maybe they are associated with the "W" people. Or maybe they will attack Alexandria some time.

Knowing just how much all y'all love him, I wanted to be the first to break the news that Chandler Riggs is one of the panelists on Talking Dead tonight.

I saw that last weekend. I, however, would like to be the first to say "RIP, Carl Grimes" (without any actual knowledge of what's actually going to happen tonight other than the fact that when people show up on Talking Dead it's because their character died).
