Round of 32 Thread

Michigan State is playing more loose and fiery, which is a good tactic vs. Virginia. But also ragged. If MSU can maintain a two-possession lead deep into the second half, can Spartans maintain it if it becomes a purely half-court game? Should they dial-back or try to keep the pedal to the floor?

That's probably typical for them. As Colin Cowherd has been saying all week, Virginia is just awful basketball.

That's why I didn't fear an ISU-Virginia matchup in the tourney if we would have had to face them. I just don't think they could keep up with us offensively at all.

If UAB could dictate tempo, I don't think VA would have had a problem with it.

Another big goes down.....#2 Virginia.....was your run of being undefeated for awhile the real deal? They got really cold in March, unfortunate for them.

Ohhhh....Michigan State to the Sweet 16 and maybe a favorite out of the East now? How original.

Nice job by Michigan St and Izzo again.

Fred Hoiberg is a GREAT coach, but he could learn a lot from a legend like Tom Izzo. That guy just knows how to win in March no matter the type of team he has.

They had some quote about how Tom Izzo always packs a long suitcase in March. Picking MSU is easy to do in the tourney, they just find ways to win.

Izzo is probably the best coach in the country. Always seems to comes through when it matters in March regardless of the talent he has on his roster.

UNI will likely NEVER have have another opportunity as good as this to make the Final Four.

#1 and #2 seeds both out in their region. Louisville might be the toughest foe.

I've got UNI playing Michigan State to go to the Final Four with Michigan St winning. I think that would be a great game.
