Like I said earlier...

Fixed that. Place was looking like a taco bar, man.

So the girl who was implying that Mrs. 00clone would be sneaking out to see 50 shades of grey was asking me what I was getting Mrs. for valentine's day. I said nothing, as Mrs. is pretty frugal, and gifts are very low on her love language list, to the point where she repeatedly says that gifts don't do anything for her, she particularly finds Valentine's day dumb, etc. Gal was all "oh, that's just what she says, you have to get her something" and I said no, we've been married 10 years, I know my wife, I show her my love in ways that are important to HER, not to society. We were at Hy-Vee today, and our janky one has a 'clearance cart' right by the checkouts with stuff they're not going to carry anymore, so they mark stuff down. Got a couple coloring books for the kids for like 30 cents a piece, and Mrs. sees these jumbo M&M's, decides she's gonna get them. She puts them in the cart and I say "There...happy valentine's day" and she busts up laughing because it's such a running joke with us about valentine's day being dumb.

I come in tonight and say to this gal..."Hey, you'll be happy to know that I got Mrs. 00clone taken care of for Valentine's day...we were at Hy-Vee and she saw some candy in the clearance cart she wanted, so I told her she could get them...so I'm good."

In all actuality, I may write her a nice letter when I get home...

Rev-we have a crap ton of blankets.

I also have not had a shamrock shake but I will change that this year.

It's alright. I never ate at McDonalds until college. There wasn't one in my hometown and my parents rarely took us out to eat unless we were travelling.

My odd claim is I've only gone to Starbucks twice and once was to get a gift card for someone.

They got a Subway in mine sometime in high school, a McDonald's and a stoplight during college. Usually if we went shopping in the bigger towns, Taco Bell, a deli place, Pizza Hut, or Subway were our eating places. And Culver's once those showed up. Not much McDonald's. Oh, Burger King after ortho appointments cause those slushie things were nice on sore teeth.

I've never had Papa Murphy's.

You are missing a tasty treat. I usually get the $5 one topping then add mushrooms pepperoni & olives. it would be enough for 2 for supper. Get the punch card filled then get one of the expensive ones for free:)

Starbucks never for me...but, admittedly, I'm not a coffee guy.

I know of Shamrock Shakes but will never have one because I detest anything with mint in it.

I'm that way with cinnamon. I blame one fateful night in college with a blind date and a bottle of Hot Damn.

Rulzzz, do you have that magical game day thread in the works? I'm ready for a little WVU beatdown.

I like mint, I just don't much like McD ice cream from what I remember. All runny.
I once left a shake out overnight and what I saw the next morning cured me of them for a long time. I credit selective memory for allowing me to purge that memory a few times a year so I can enjoy a shamrock shake with limited guilt
