43 kids in his class...he just stands in line, then ducks out when it gets close

Looking into seeing if it's even a possibility.Kids named Ring4Cy, perhaps?
Again, something that should be scheduled early...
And you could say the kid in me came out when dad made the suggestion.
Well, you BBQ meat haters can have each other.

Our son that was on the Cy squad told us the ones that do weddings & store openings & such are not the spirit squad Cy's. They're a separate squad that is booked through the AD marketing team, iirc.
And they're just something to do during the offseason. It's not just for kids who aren't good enough. About five years ago there was a team at Ames High that only shot from beyond half-court.
What is your team name? No way it is better than Ames High Garden Club (Cash Money Hoes)
We briefly looked into it. I believe it is like $250/hour or something like that.
DH's was the same size. There's pros and cons. The pros of a small school are that you can be involved in pretty much everything. Our high school here has 1500 in the top three grades. They have a lot more opportunities there (like a swimming pool, jazz band)........but the odds that my kid will get to star in the musical and start for the basketball team are slim.

A guy in my office misuses "can" instead of "can't" a lot.
Me - "Steve, can your guy cover for Brian on Monday?"
Steve - "He can do that. He has a doctor's appointment."
And it's not like Steve's a guy that is incapable of being negative. He's just incapable in general.
