We had a friend do video for our wedding, I *think* he did it for free (or however much beer we gifted him). After the wedding he put together a short "outtakes" video along with all the footage. We really need to get all of it converted to a different format other than VHS. As a side note, he went on to film school at USC and is now at Sundance with a movie he worked on.

Anyone in your or her family a member of the Alumni Association? I see you get a slight discount if you are, that will save you $50-100.

we had DH's video making liking cousin do ours. Videography wasn't a big thing for us, so we went super cheap there. Just have to pick and choose what is important. Go cheap on paper stuff. Wedding programs (if you do them) for $40 at OfficeMax.

Good question. Nobody just flies right off the handle like that for no reason at all. I enjoyed that he was telling people to stand up for the team when he just had 2 threads get closed for accusing a player of point shaving. I wonder if some of those people are actually CW and the mod team trying to get extra view to the site by creating accounts to dive off the deep end

Hang in there, man. Was just thinking that here it is, the 28th of January, and we have not had one day yet in 2015 where all 4 of us in our family have been healthy. Our 2 YO is fighting an ear infection that is causing him to be congested, he can't sleep because his congestion causes him trouble breathing when lying on his back, and he's too active to prop up one end of his bed. Called the doctor, and they recommended giving him benadryl, but that scared the crap out of me. Those with young kids know that it can knock them the heck out. And I'm like...umm..he's waking up because he can't breathe...if he can't breathe...I kind of want him to wake up, not just keep sleeping because he's doped up and then...

And now the 4 YO is coughing too....and I've had a sore throat for a week...

But...we carry on...

And I've been in that place where nothing seems to go well, there's no easy solution, but know that it doesn't last forever.

I've only seen reruns, but we (me and my older girls) enjoyed watching it this summer.

00--Benadryl never did anything to my kids. Have you ever used the good Sudafed for kids that you have to prove you aren't Jesse Pinkman to buy? I've only found it at our Target pharmacy.

No, so far only Zarbees and similar. I *think* he slept better last night without it, at least, when I checked on him before bed, he wasn't making noise while breathing...but he was up again at 530.

Two "old fashioned" things I did with my boys...love my vicks vaporub. Smoothed a small amount on the little chest at bed time, then if they were really congested, would also use the vaporizer with a dollop of vicks in the medicine cup.

Old school.
