Iowa @ Wisconsin

He got a technical against KU? The only one I recall is that BS one against Monte.

But otherwise I somewhat agree. Dustin seems to get a head of steam built up against someone on the other team then is on a mission to rough them up. It's the way he plays - and it's not really a bad thing. Just one of those where it's easy to cross the line, or at least the ref thinks you've crossed the line. The T last night didn't seem to be anything too severe (whatever talking the two players were doing not withstanding). Seemed to be a really week double-T

It was also the ref who gave out the most T's last year. If some smack talk and bouncing the ball to hard is as out of control as ISU gets then they're in pretty good shape.

That's right it was Monte. Hogue just seems to be getting into it a lot on the floor lately. And he is probably my favorite player with Nader gaining momentum.

I haven't been to Hawkeye Nation for a bit... what is the sentiment about the eyegouginggate?

Mixed on hawkeyereport.com. Some of them saying they have never liked Woodbury and that he is a punk. Some of them saying they like it.

Woody demonstrating his defensive stance (only you older fans will probably get this):

I didn't see this jab last night and I didn't see a video as I skimmed through the first few pages. Does someone have a link to it?

When I saw the replay at Hilton, Hogue had his back to his defender so it seemed really odd when they both got a technical. I guess they both said the magic word because I didn't see any real contact.

I was able to replay it a few times at home. Looked like Hogue gave the KSU player a pretty hard shot and really shoved him back on his box out. Came from across the lane to get him. KSU player grabbed his jersey and Hogue took a bit of a swipe at his arm and the KSU player kinda pushed him back. Certainly a little jawing as part of it.

Probably was the right move for the ref to step in, but the T seemed pointless and excessive.

Iowa has played 2 games against top 10 teams. They've lost by a combined 47 points. Pretty telling.
