***Official 2015 Recruiting Thread***

Nerness just picked up an offer from Louisville. He now has offers from K-state, WVU, Louisville and ISU. Hopefully we can hold on to him. Does anyone know if he expected to stay at DE or is he a candidate to be beefed up and moved inside?

Then he is wrong. Again. For the 3rd straight recruiting season. We absolutely need to upgrade the talent at LB, unless we have struck gold and the guys redshirting are studs.

I sure hope he is going to stay at DE. He is like 225 lbs and quick. Needs to bulk up to a 245-250 lb pass rushing DE, not a tiny tiny DT.

Don't seem to be too hard after LB right now. Mostly looking at interior DL (both JUCO and HS) and another JUCO CB. They've had a few offers out to OL, so must be looking for another one of them also, unless the C comitt Scroggins changes that.

The LB they do have offered is Rainey at Iowa Western. Not much for an offer list, so we should have a good shot. Crazy athletic, would be a nice steal at this point.

How can we not be going hard after some LB's?? What am I missing? I understand Harris will be playing next year, but the fact he wasn't good enough to play this year is a little worrisome.

What does anyone know about our young guys like Seonbucher and Harvey?

Anyone think there is a chance that QB Joe Burrow will decommit from Ohio St. since he will probably not see the field for 3-4 years?

I think they could both be pretty good. I hope Northrup puts on 20-25 lbs before fall. These 3 could see valuable time as 2nd/3rd stringers.

Seonbuchner just has surgery on his ACL today so his progression may be held back for next year.

They are all young guys.

So about 6-7 months before he could theoretically see the field. Maybe he's ready for camp, maybe not. Definitely not ideal and I haven't heard how he was doing this year so I kind of doubt he's in the discussion.

I'd heard good things about him this fall, but I don't know if he would've pushed for serious playing time.

Small class and the staff is much more concerned with getting quality play at DL. Almost all the offers I know of right now are focused on DL guys.

Plus we were young at LB with everyone but Miller returning on the depth chart. Athletic talent hasn't turned into football talent yet.
