Recruit Lists v2.0

Twins or dandy have you seen anything about if ISU will have any recruits attend Hilton madness. I'm sure well have a good crowd but I wonder if coaching staff wants to wait and see how the first year of Hilton madness goes before they invite recruits.

Of the two situations, the one that REALLY makes me frustrated is the TxA&M (Jalen Jones) transfer. How can he be eligible after the 4th game while McKay has to wait a semester? BTW, that question is rhetorical - we all know how consistently inconsistent the NCAA is.

What a joke.

Nothing that I've heard or seen yet

Yeah that's totally effed up, he transferred in January. This is an exact parralel well actually McKay's case is better. McKay didn't even partake in scrimmages. Pollard should be going ape **** about this. So much for the rear in residence rule.

The four games he has to sit out are NEXT year, not this year. That's what makes this an even bigger joke! Seriously, f*ck the NCAA.

The NCAA needs to get its act together. More transparency, consistency, and accountability. There needs to be some sort of release from those who decide these things so that their reasoning is public and to ensure consistency when handling these sorts of things. Perhaps there are some mitigating circumstances that drove the committee to their decision, but those circumstances need to be addressed and validated. It's just not fair to the athletes and institutions to have these seemingly drastic and uneven responses to very similar circumstances. The deferred punishment is a complete head-scratcher to me as well. How the heck can you justify something like that?

I wonder if the ncaa took into account the fact that Jones was basically forced out of SMU by the coaching staff who refused to play him while McKay transferred for no clear reason? Who knows...

I'm curious how you are able to be in every NCAA locker room, every recruits living room, every referees office...are you, twocoach, some kind of omnipresent force?
